Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive procedure used to renew overall skin tone and texture. It can improve the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scarring, melasma and other skin-related conditions. During this procedure the skin is sprayed with exfoliant crystals to remove dead epidermal cells. Skin might be slightly red and sensitive immediately after treatment. Dryness or flakiness in the days following the treatment is not unusual and can last up to a week.
