RADIOFREQUENCY [RF] TREATMENTS

The Forma radiofrequency, also known as [RF], is a non-surgical treatment and known for its skin tightening effects.

Skin laxity occurs around the age of 35-40. That is when the quantity and quality of collagen begins to decline.

Maintaining a temperature over 40°C for over three minutes causes the body to release heat-shock proteins. These proteins stimulate the body to create new collagen fibers.

This firming action makes RF especially well-suited to treat the chin, jawline, jowls and nasal labial folds.

THERMOCOAGULATION

Thermocoagulation utilizes the high frequency current to discharge pinpoint heat energy to produce a thermal lesion and the immediate disappearance of the imperfections and spider veins while preserving the epidermis. All that may remain is a tiny circular red mark that disappears within hours post-treatment to leave a micro-crust which itself disappears usually within a few days. The treatment is extremely safe and unlike other procedures does not pose risk of heat blistering or scarring.
