The Forma radiofrequency, also called skin tightening, is a non-surgical method of tightening the skin. Skin laxity occurs around the age of 35-40 when the quantity and quality of collagen begins to decline. Maintaining a temperature over 40°C for over three minutes causes the body to release heat-shock proteins. These proteins stimulate the body to create new collagen fibers. The device effectively treats the forehead, upper and lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, marionet lines, jowls and neck.
This treatment is extremely relaxing with no downtime post-treatment and leaves the skin with a "Cinderella" effect immediately afterwards. The skin is glowing, plumped, firm and smooth to the touch. Ideal for those special events where you want a healthy glowing face with defined contours. The real effects of this treatment would be mostly visible three months post-treatment. That is how long it takes for the remodeling and production of new collagen to reach the epidermis.
